Taub was born in the UK and became the Israeli ambassador to the UK in 2011. He did once traveled to Northern Ireland with a Palestinian diplomat to learn from the peaceful situation and apply it the Palestinian-Israel situation.

In 2012, Taub told the Jewish Chronicle that he was worried about the atmosphere othe UK college campuses, concerning how they feel about Israel. Many years later, UK’s largest student union did boycott Israel.

At this time, the person who will succeed him as the Israeli ambassador is unknown.

Taub was not just born in the UK. He was educated in this country as well. He went to the secondary school called the Habarshers Aske’s School in the UK town of Hertfordshire.
