Jennifer Walden, MD, becomes Secretary of ASAPS Executive Committee

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) recently elected Dr. Jennifer Walden as Secretary of its Executive Committee on the Board of Directors. This comes as an adherence to her current position as a Commissioner of Communications for the same group.

Dr. Jennifer Walden has been practicing cosmetic surgery for almost 15 years and is recognized worldwide for her experience and outstanding knowledge. When her busy schedule allows for it, she can be seen on television shows commenting on subjects related to her profession.

Dr. Walden is the founder of the Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center, a state of the art facility located in her hometown of Austin, Texas. The facility offers services such as liposuction, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, facelifts, and Brazilian buttock lifts. Other less serious procedures like laser hair removal and Botox injections are also practiced.

Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center is also known for its advanced 3D technology. The high-end equipment allows for patients to see ahead of time what they will look like after surgery.

Early in her career

Jennifer Walden was born in Austin, Texas and attended the Texas University upon high school graduation; where she completed an undergraduate degree in biology and later proceeded to complete her MD. After Texas University she relocated to New York where she trained in plastic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.


Dr. Walden not only enjoys helping people through her profession but is also a member of many charitable groups mainly looking after children. She contributes to groups such as; Guardian Angel Society, Austin’s Center for Child Protection, and the Junior League of Austin’s Food in Tummies Program.
